Before you collect the car

We need to see your licence and know you may drive this car. ID Wallet shares your licence and pictures of it, your name, date of birth and a DVLA check code; our desk checks category B and two years on GOV.UK.

  1. Share your licence

Your licence and pictures of it, your name, date of birth and a DVLA check code.

This demo is not connected to its verification service yet, so it cannot start a request.

  2. Our desk checks the code

Staff open GOV.UK themselves, check category B and two years held, and record what it shows.

  3. Collect the keys

    From 09:00 on the day.
